The 2016 meeting of the Southwest Chapter of AAPM was held March 31 through April 2 at InterContinental New Orleans.  It was filled with rich content in diagnostic, therapy, professional and nuclear medicine physics topics. SAM, MPCEC and MDCB credits were offered to attendees.

The popular Practice Oral Examination (therapy physics only) was offered again.  The exam took place on Thursday March 31 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the InterContinental.

The InterContinental is located on historic St. Charles Avenue, in the Central Business District adjacent to the French Quarter and Bourbon St., the Warehouse District, and New Orleans attractions such as the National World War II Museum and Audubon Aquarium. Easy access to the Canal St. and Magazine St. trolley lines. Transportation by Airport Shuttle is available between the InterContinental and the New Orleans airport.
